Someone (Adam) finally explained the Lenny and his rabbits reference to me. Now we have "Literary Reference Sundays," which are a really nice complement to "Thirsty Thursdays," "Forties on Fridays," and "That Thing We Do at Christiania Wednesdays." (continue with the alliteration)
Needless to say, I was pretty Wednesday-ed last Sunday, and Thursdays and Fridays are often indistinguishable. Saturdays are now just unproductive and weird, and usually involve me throwing up.
It's good to be home for awhile...
Happy Thanksgiving! I'm baking a cake in the morning.
Adam is so smart. Not quite sure how that came up, but I'm sure Lit Sunday was a genius plan waiting to be hatched.
ReplyDeleteErik is finalizing the plans for that weekend in mid January. I sure hope that during those 3-4 days we'll be able to find suitable substitutions for Forties on Fridays, not so sober Saturdays, and (by far my favorite and one that I may just have to stay) Lit Sunday. Actually, I'm pretty sure we'll want to keep all these going in Warsh, DC.
Thanksgiving was uneventful. I avoided turkey and someone forgot to make mac&cheese.
I have 11 days left and I'm ready to get it over with. I have a feeling this break will be too short. I may try to be productive and start some things on the list. Are you still coming up for New Years? You have a place to crash.
I think the week in mid-Jan is the best I can manage. Two trips to the northeast from the dirty dirty south (louisiana) may be too extravagant. It may even be impossible, as I don't even know if they have airports there. Or running water...
